Register on Enter Hungary & Get your Residence Permit

All international students must register their stay with the national immigration authority shortly after arrival. 

- The Platform: All official applications, document uploads, and biometric appointments must be managed online via the official government portal Enter Hungary Portal. 

- The Authority: The entire verification process is fully operated by the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing (OIF)

- Non-EU Students: Within 30 days of entering the country, you must upload your entry visa, passport, university acceptance letter, and signed accommodation sheet to the portal to receive your physical Residence Permit (Tartózkodási Engedély).

- EU/EEA Students: If staying longer than 90 days, you must register your stay via the same portal to obtain your official Registration Certificate.
