How do Non-EU students use the MIGRIS platform?
For students from outside the European Union, MIGRIS is the central pillar of the entire move.

1. University Mediation: The Lithuanian university must first upload an electronic mediation letter to the government system MIGRIS. This contains a unique registration code.
2. Digital File: Without that mediation code from the university, the Non-EU student cannot open and submit his/her own application for a National Visa D or a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP). All documents (passport, insurance, bank statements) are uploaded exclusively in digital format through the account on this platform.
